Piedad Palacio Graduated in Fine Arts, at the Complutense University of Madrid , in 1986 . She lives and works in Madrid where she also teaches Art at high and secondary school level in Madrid.
Her work is in-between figurative and abstract art. She is in a constant search for new ways of expression in visual communication context: Colour and shape,….materia…..,seeking New Spaces..
In 2012 she starts up, together with Taller7 and Pequeño Deseo Foundation " Arcokids", an Artistic Project that takes place since that the International Art Fair ARCO in Madrid. Since then the group has taken on the following editions
In 2016 she takes part in the "Humanization of health care Project "in 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid. These Project is promoted by Pequeño Deseo Foundation and LillySpain pharmaceutical company and it has been awarded on the III edition OCARE 2016.
She has worked with Artists as Marta Cárdenas, Ian Wallace, Manuel Ayllón, Manuel Alcorlo, and Steven Cushner.
Her work is in numerous public and prívate collections including The National Library and The Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
